Alright, I’m back to the land of the living. Since everyone tuned out on the moto links (LAME. Go back and check them out!), we’re back to fitness and whatnot. So here we go, internet finds of the week.
#1: Ladies, let’s chat about how we talk to ourselves.
If anything, just stop when you notice. If you’re not ready to talk positively yet, at least go with neutral. Degrading yourself freaking constantly will do nothing to enhance your life. Love and peace. Love and peace!
And this too.
Shift the words and thoughts about specific parts to actions those parts can accomplish –> If I didn’t have these gorgeous curvy hips, I wouldn’t be able to hold this adorable baby I have all the time. If I didn’t have this luscious round bottom, I wouldn’t be able to squat twice my bodyweight or peak a 14er. Get where I’m going with this?
Next, some really good advice for life.
I mean, if we could all stop getting so offended by someone else’s choices that are all their own and affect their life, their body, their relationships, etc etc etc, that would be fantastic. I certainly have to stop myself sometimes when I get riled up about someone else’s choices, especially since I get so pissed when they get riled up about mine. So this is a great little reminder.
And for your weekly training knowledge bomb.
I have all but stopped using BOSU Balls in my personal training sessions, and especially in my group classes. Yes, there are some specific training applications for the BOSU, but in most cases, they are so specific, it’s not worth it to bring that sucker out.
And finally, THISSSSSSS.
I mean…I can’t. I die. I might have to get cable again just to watch this one channel.
