Uh, duh. Now, yes, this was a small study. But I could’ve told you this was the case even without a study at all, so it’s still significant. Runners often neglect strength work, even knowing its benefits. Maybe knowing that it could increase your performance by almost 4% is enough reason to prioritize your strength training.
