Well hi there! I know I have been a bit absent from the blog lately, with the exception of Sunday links. There’s a good reason why, I promise.
I got to go on a vacation!
So, if we were going to work out today, I would tell you all about it. How about a run for our Sweat Date so we can chat and enjoy the weather? Perfect
We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise for five nights out of Fort Lauderdale on the Liberty of the Seas. It stopped on Haiti at Royal Caribbean’s private beach, Labadee, as well as Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Day 1: Fort Lauderdale

Frizzy hair, don’t care. Because cocktails and Harley dress = vacation!

A massive storm followed us out to sea, but we never saw clouds again!
Day 2: At sea
No need for a camera at the pool. Just sunshine (and sunscreen). And this guy.

Not even really sure what he is.
Day 3: Labadee, Haiti
I was not expecting this stop to be much of anything, but it turned out to be gorgeous. So glad we got off the boat! I would honestly recommend a Royal Caribbean cruise specifically for this beach.

Liberty of the Seas in port.

Most peaceful spot ever.

The favorite daily pastime when leaving a port: get a cocktail and watch as the boat leaves.

Towel Animal #2! This little guy was my favorite. So cute!
Day 4: Ocho Rios, Jamaica
I didn’t get the (overpriced) DVD of our excursion to Dunn’s Falls, but that was a blast. Post-waterfall, we headed to the beach.

I love that guy :)

This beach wasn’t nearly as pretty as Labadee, but it’ll do.

Again, watching as the boat heads back out to sea.

Obligatory elevator shot. It’s the little things on cruise ships, really.

And Towel Animal #3: stop looking at me, Swan!
Day 5: At Sea
Again, no camera really needed for the pool. Super fun last day though, AND I won $300 at pool bingo!

A look at the Royal Promenade from Deck 8.

And a departing night shot. Figured out I could do some neat stuff with my camera. And love just watching the ocean from our balcony. So peaceful!
Day 6: Home
Depressing.
Overall, it was a great vacation, just not long enough. But what vacation ever really is? Already can’t wait for our next cruise, whenever that may be.
In the meantime, I’d tell you I have some fun posts coming up next week, so don’t cross the blog off your list yet! And I’m off to The Fitness Summit this weekend to meet some of my idols in the industry; couldn’t be more excited. Finally, I’ll be teaching some new classes starting next week too, and I’m also excited for that new adventure.
Neverending adventure, my friends! I hope your world is full of good stuff right now, and I’ll see you next week!
