Hey! So good to see you for our Sweat Date this week! I really need a kickass workout after the craziness going on, so let’s head to the gym and get to it.
So how are you this week? I’m hanging in there, trying to go about my business. Trying being the key word. It’s hard sometimes to shut the thoughts off, tune the media and others’ opinions out, and try to sort out your own feelings. All I can say is that I’m a bit disappointed in some of the choices that have been made in the last week, and the last few months, in the fair city of St. Louis, but I do hope and pray that better ones will be made going forward. It’s important. How are you getting through it all?
And speaking of getting through it all, how is your Thanksgiving going? I know it can be overwhelming! I taught a crazy awesome class at Shred415 this morning, then kicked some Don’t Be A Turkey Challengers’ butts, and now I’m about to dig into my delicious smoked turkey! I sure am grateful for these seemingly little things that are actually really big to me. Having my dream job, being surrounded by people I love (IRL and online!), and being healthy and fit…I really couldn’t ask for more. I hope that you have been able to enjoy the holiday however you enjoy it most – with family, with food, or maybe even with shopping.
Oh yeah! Shopping! Did I tell you I’m doing a special for Small Business Saturday? I’m really excited to participate this year. I love the idea of Shop Small, and I really believe in it. Many of the businesses that matter most are small, and I like to support them as much as I can. I don’t know about you, but I am feeling pretty darn (yes, I said darn) good! Getting this workout done before my feast is so awesome, mostly because I will feel totally fine sitting on my buns for the rest of the day! How about we finish with this quick little burner?
